King H. Alejaibra Badu
King H. Alejaibra Badu is a globally respected spiritual teacher, intuitive healing artist, and founder of Alejaibra’s House Works—a metaphysical healing society rooted in ancestral wisdom, liberation, and personal transformation. Born and raised in Greensboro, NC, King Badu descends from a powerful lineage of indigenous healers, entrepreneurs, and freedom fighters who uplifted Black communities through action and investment.
A child prodigy and scholar, King Badu gained national attention in 2000 when discovered by Queen Latifah and cast in the groundbreaking reality show Trading Place. Despite public recognition, he chose a path of purpose over fame, later founding his healing sanctuary in Washington, DC’s Historic Anacostia neighborhood. He has since expanded his impact to Osogbo, Nigeria, further honoring his African roots.
Inspired by the birth of his daughter Madison, King Badu transformed his life’s mission to focus on healing, youth empowerment, and the fight against oppression and self-limiting beliefs. His work bridges ancient traditions with modern expression through music, art, and lifestyle—inviting others to live freely, love deeply, and heal fully.
